I joined my first test group at Bell Labs in 1984. I've been directly involved in testing for 15 of the 24 years since as a tester, test lead, test architect, and manager. I have also either done or managed pretty much every other technical discipline in software. I currently work for Polycom, a maker of voice and video conferencing equipment. I am the test lead for our video conferencing management software and development lead for our test automation framework.
